MN692 Capstone Project T1 Assessment 4 Assignment Help

MN692 Assessment 4 Assignment 1

ASSESSMENT DESCRIPTION

In this assessment, students must demonstrate their progress on the Capstone Project throughout the trimester to their tutor and deliver a final demonstration and presentation.

All the requirement files must be submitted solely by the designated leader through the assigned group submission link. Only the assigned group leader is responsible for submitting the required files through the Moodle assignment submission link. Penalties will be applied in cases where multiple students submit highly similar files, as this may be regarded as plagiarism.

GROUP ASSIGNMENT TASK

Assessment 4 of the MN692 Capstone Project requires students to demonstrate their progress throughout the trimester. In Week 11, they will present a demonstration of their final work and deliver a presentation during the tutorial. Additionally, they must design and submit a poster and create a short video presentation explaining it.

Weekly Demonstration and Presentation [HURDLE]

From Week 2 to Week 10, students must present and demonstrate their implementation progress throughout the trimester. Short presentations and demonstrations are acceptable. This section is not graded; however, it is a hurdle requirement. If students fail to show consistent progress, they will not receive marks, even if they complete everything in Week 11.

Final Demonstration and Presentation [50% Mark]

Students must prepare the final demonstration of their developed product and deliver a presentation on the MN692 Capstone Project, including a clear introduction, methodology, implementation methods, results, and conclusion. The methodology should outline the overall approach and framework used, while the implementation methods should detail the specific techniques and processes applied during development. The presentation should last a maximum of 10 minutes and will take place during the Week 11 tutorial. PowerPoint slides must be prepared in advance, follow the given final presentation template, and be uploaded to Moodle before the presentation. All team members should contribute equally, demonstrate good collaboration, and participate in a Q&A session afterward.

If you do not attend the demonstration, you will receive a zero for this task. This is a group-marked task; however, if there are discrepancies in team members' contributions, your tutor will adjust individual marks based on each member's level of contribution and responses during the demonstration and presentation.

Poster and Recorded Video [50% Mark]

Students are required to create a professionally designed project poster that presents comprehensive information about their project implementation. The poster should clearly communicate the key aspects of the project, including the project title, background and objectives, problem statement, methodology, system architecture or design diagram, tools and technologies used, key milestones, outcomes or results, and future recommendations. Ensure that the poster adheres to the standard

A0 size (24 × 36 inches) in either landscape or portrait orientation. The poster should be visually appealing and suitable for presentation at a project showcase. Students may use Microsoft PowerPoint or any other suitable design software to create the poster. Additionally, students must provide a short, 2-minute video recording to explain their poster and pitch their project. The video should be uploaded to YouTube as an unlisted video, and the link must be submitted along with the poster file.

FILE SUBMISSION

The team leader must submit the following files through the appropriate Moodle submission links:

  • • MS PowerPoint presentation slides (to be submitted before the group presentation).
  • • Project poster (in PowerPoint format if created using MS PowerPoint, or as a PDF if created using another tool).
  • • A recorded video explaining the poster and pitching the project (approximately 2 minutes in length).
